This is a version of the Renaissance center. It will be torn down Only the center part will be left. The center has cars in the window. Detroit is a car town. That is why the cars are still in the center building .

Title or Location: City of Baltimore inner harbor
The boat is called The Baltimore. It was docked in the inner harbor in Baltimore. It's not a shiny new boat, rather, it's old and a little tired, and that's what caught my eye. It spoke to me saying, "I have a lot of history here".

Title or Location: I believe the original photo was taken at The Detroit Zoo.
I saw the photo of these two giraffes when the story about the death of the baby giraffe was posted online. I read that she needed to be euthanized due to a neck injury which happened at the zoo. I felt compelled to paint them. I added the background flora and fauna because the original photo was taken in the zoo?s enclosure. Before I completed the painting, it was purchased by a woman who told me she had lost a child of her own.

Title or Location: "Rusting Relic"
This one is for my new home of Detroit... A painting of the abandoned Packard Plant.Gouache and acrylic marker on canvas board with a constructed wire hanging (makes sense that it's hand fashioned wire for a factory dealing with metal) Started with a paper "underpainting" - a collage of papers showing rust and metal decay. Then I used some patchy blue Gouache for the sky and acrylic markers for my outlines (black and white with a little purple in the dark shadows). All of the other colo

Painted during a ?stop overthinking and just move paint around? kind of day. Lots of layered blues, oversized florals, and chaotic energy that somehow ended up finding balance anyway.

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.

I am Tracey, a self-taught artist from Plymouth, UK, I have been developing my coloured pencil techniques for the past year . My aim is always to capture not only the likeness of an animal but also the personality and spirit that make them so special to the people who love them.In this piece, Colin is shown resting amongst a vibrant meadow of wildflowers, his striking green eyes drawing the viewer in. The detailed fur work, delicate whiskers, and colourful floral surroundings were all carefull
